This isn't your typical conference, it's a uniquely Western Australian Anti-conference. We're bringing interactive workshops, quizzes and debates to the heart of Perth.

Intelligence: Quiz Night (18+)
Friday 11 August 2023, 5.30pm - 8.30pm, Perth Mess Hall
Ready to test your science knowledge? Get your team together for our quiz night at Perth Mess Hall. Working with Bamboozled Quizmasters and local STEM professionals (who may be making guest appearances on the night) we're ready to bring you the best science quiz of the year! Keep an eye on our social channels to find out who are guests are for hints of what science topics you need to brush up on.

Tickets include a voucher for a free drink. Food trucks will be available to grab dinner from - more information on these to come.
Innovation: Anti-conference

Have you ever wondered what innovation is happening right here in Western Australia but didn't know how to find out without sitting through an hour-long presentation? Do did we. Cue the invention of The Anti-conference, a day filled with 30 minutes interactive sessions, hands on workshops and fascinating exhibitors.

Join us in Hackett Hall and the Woodside Learning Studios to hear about robotics, carbon sequestering, the space industry, antibiotic resistance, renewable energy and more. Tune into our social channels for presenter announcements and more information on their sessions.

In this afternoon session we'll be continuing to explore WA based innovation through 30 minute sessions. Hear about the deep sea, unexpected career pathways, the diversity within teams, and the likelihood of finding love (and aliens). Or have a go at coding a drone and learning the ropes of Quantum computing.
