Connecting scientists and citizens in the Western Australia's Albany region and surrounds.
Great Southern Science Council (GSSC) is a group of passionate volunteers who live and work in the beautiful and diverse Great Southern region of WA.

A volunteer committee of science professionals, running events within and WA's Great Southern.

 

All members are passionate about the region, and about science. They work together to promote science, Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) education, and research. These objectives are supported by the provision of science communication information, collaboration and the promotion of science in the wider community.

Purpose: The purpose of the Great Southern Science Council is to act as an advocate and independent voice for science, through education and engagement initiatives.
